WorldTribe is honored to collaborate with the media professionals from the Exile Media Hub, a groundbreaking refugee project. Recently, Kristina Bodrožić-Brnić from WorldTribe and Christian Ogrinz from Berlin Wibes joined forces over two productive days to promote innovative ideas for AI-driven image, music, and video creation. This partnership has provided a valuable opportunity to work with creative talents from around the globe, highlighting the immense potential of collaboration and innovation.
The Exile Media Hub: A Safe Haven for Creativity
The Exile Media Hub, an initiative by m'ct (Media in Cooperation and Transition), stands as a beacon of hope and creativity for individuals from diverse backgrounds. This inspiring project offers a vital platform for journalists, photographers, podcasters, and illustrators who face threats to their safety in their home countries, enabling them to continue their essential work in a secure environment. Currently, about 12 professionals are residing and collaborating within the hub, creating new projects and exploring innovative ideas together.
AI tools play a significant role in the Hub, providing time-saving solutions for tasks such as social media management, grammatical corrections, and the development of creative concepts. This technology not only enhances efficiency but also empowers the residents to maximize their creative output. Beyond serving as a support system for its members, the Exile Media Hub is a vibrant part of the local community in Schmerwitz. In September, Sareh Oveysi will host a photography exhibition, showcasing her recent artworks, further fostering cultural exchange and engagement with the community.
WorldTribe expresses deep gratitude to m'ct for the invitation to participate in this remarkable initiative and to Christian Ogrinz for his invaluable collaboration. Their commitment and vision have been crucial in bringing this project to fruition. There is an ongoing need for more volunteers to share their expertise, especially in teaching GenAI techniques, which could greatly benefit the creative professionals at the hub.
